Our conical PDC cutters apply a significantly higher concentrated point load on the rock with the special conical design, and the cutters’ thicker diamond table enhances impact strength and wear resistance. This combination enables the user’s PDC drill bit to highly improve footage and ROP in very challenging drilling applications, e.g., hard, interbedded, conglomerate, chert- and pyrite-inclusive formations that can easily cause impact damages to conventional drill bits.
Because of their excellent performance, such conical PDC cutter is also widely applied to coal excavating/underground mining, road milling (the lifespan is about 40 times higher than the traditional WC milling cutters) and other rotary drilling equipment in mining/quarrying fields.
